EDMAN, ERIC

Eric W. Edman, Director, Jamaica Associates, Boston, Massachusetts, is the former Director Boston Progressive Credit Union, Eucharistic Minister St. John’s, St. Hugh’s, and a Notary Public, city of Boston.

Born in Canal Zone, Panama, he is the son of the late Jacob and Mary Edman. He was educated in elementary school in Jamaica and the Massachusetts Radio and Television Schools in Boston, Massachusetts. A former employee of Jamaica Public Service Company, he migrated to the USA in 1946. He was employed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Lexington, Massachusetts from 1956-1982. His religion is Roman Catholic.

He married Louise Knight in October 1950 and they have one son. A member of the Windsor Cricket and Social Club Inc. since 1950, he played with their number 2 team.

Eric is the Executive Secretary of the Windsor Cricket and Social Club Inc. from 1950 to the present. He is Chaplain of the Massachusetts State Cricket League Inc.
