Maxine Jackson of Hartford, Ct. and her friend Yvette Humphrey who was visiting from Barbados paid a visit to the cricket Hall of Fame on Wednesday June 10, 2026. Ms. Humphrey is a school teacher in Barbados. She was very in tuned with “why is our CWI Cricket team is failing”. She spoke about the players not being able to focus on the game. She thought maybe the players were making too much money. Ms. Humphrey is convinced the CWI management should expose the players to Mindfulness Training. Chambers (the Executive Director) explains that since 2017 he wrote two books “ WINNING STROKES and MIND POWER TRAINING MANUAL he has tried to expose Mind Power Training to CWI Management but with no success.
Mike Chambers was pleased to learn that Yvette is a neighbor of James Phillip alias “Prophet” who played for the Sportmen’s Cricket team for many years. Prophet is now retired in Barbados.
