COACH COLEY (far right) VISITS DENBIGH HIGH SCHOOL’S CRICKET PROGRAM
We at the West Indies Cricket Development Academy Limited were honoured to host Immediate Past West Indies senior men’s Coach Mr Andre Coley, on March 27, 2025. In his capacity as consultant to the Bermuda Cricket Association, Mr Coley toured the Jamalco Sports Club grounds—our upcoming home venue—inspected the Bridge Palm Hotel, our official accommodation partner, and visited the Sir P.S. Cricket Oval and the Denbigh High cricket facility where the Academy primarily operates. He examined the two concrete pitches with fencing, offering praise and constructive advice for further improvement. Our meeting with the Denbigh High School principal was productive, and on his departure we presented Mr Coley with a Mind Power Training book, reflecting the mindfulness component embedded in our curriculum. Founder and President Mr Junior Codlin expressed delight at the players’ enthusiasm and looks forward to a lasting bilateral relationship that will help the Academy build towards greatness.
