KINGSTON, JAMAICA – [July 19, 2025] – The West Indies Cricket Development Academy Limited (WICDA), a registered non-profit organization based in Jamaica, is thrilled to announce the successful completion of “Concrete Pitch Project Number 1.” This significant milestone marks a major step forward in providing essential infrastructure for aspiring cricketers in the region.
The Academy extends its profound gratitude to Mr. Mahammad Qureshi for his generous donation, which was instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. In recognition of his invaluable support and commitment to cricket development, both the newly completed Concrete Pitch Number 1 and the upcoming Concrete Pitch Number 2, slated for completion within the next week, will be proudly named in his honor.
