Naomi Hall, Portland, Jamaica to receive Certificate of Achievement for the development of the Portland Women’s T10 Tournament
She is the Captain of the Portland Women’s Cricket Team
The 2020 Tournament was a success, 2021 cancelled due to COVID-19 Pandemic and 2022 Tournament, March 5-6 2022 a success.
Jovial, dedicated, determined are just a few of the words used to describe Naomi Hall. A person with a passion for sports, namely cricket, netball, football and track and field. My vision is to see four females from Portland representing the national team, hence I started the West Portland Sports Club in July 2018 and we’ve been reaping success as a group since.
In our first competition, I sent four persons to the Miami classics and we got four medals. Such success brought an overwhelming amount of members to the club. Our next assignment was a disappointment but as the saying goes, every disappointment is for good and mine brought me to Mr. Michael Chambers and the birth of the Portland Women’s T10 Tournament. As a hardened supporter of sports, I will dedicate every fiber of my being in making this dream a reality. Ms. Christina Henry and Ms. Nichole Thomas and myself will continue to pursue the mission ‘vision to reality’. To my West Portland Sports Club family, we will continue discovering talents and unlocking potentials.
I will continue to hold steady my vision to see four females from Portland representing the national team. As stated, every apparent set back brings us closer to our goals. Our collaboration with Cricket Hall of Fame has truly been our blessing. This collaboration birthed the Portland Women’s T10 Tournament, which was by all accounts, a major success.
As an ardent supporter of sports, I will dedicate every fiber of my being in making this dream a reality. The West Portland Sports Club family will continue its mission of discovering talents and unlocking potential.

We are thrilled to have had your support in making our first T10 tournament a success. Thank you for granting us the stage on which to showcase our talents and pursue what we love doing. As a result of your involvement we continue working towards discovering and cultivating talent among the youths of Jamaica. You truly made the difference for us and we are extremely grateful!!
