RESOLUTION

Presented to the family of

RUDDY WILLIAMS

Be it known to all that we hereby honor the life and memories of the late Ruddy Williams who sadly passed away on January 1, 2022.

Ruddy possessed a good knowledge of the game of cricket and was an accomplished player. He became a member of Melbourne Cricket Club, Kingston, Jamaica in the 1960s. Ruddy held every position on and off the field at Melbourne. He was captain, manager, chairman of selectors, most of all a husband, father, friend and a people person.

He was an outstanding mentor to all and played a significant role in player development at the organization. He served as the chairman of the selectors at the Jamaica Cricket Association.

We are deeply saddened by his loss but feel lucky that we got to know him. Few times in one’s life do you come across a person with such great passion, grace and expertise. We hope that all who knew him will find some comfort in reflecting on their memories of him.

Please accept our deepest and sincerest condolences.
